Likewise-Open install fails on Ubuntu 10.04 x64: LW_ERROR_NO_SUCH_SERVICE

I am attempting to install Likewise-Open on a fresh updated installation of Ubuntu Server 10.04 64-bit (running on ESXi if that makes a difference..). The only non-default package installed is OpenSSH, all the latest updates are installed as of December 21, 2011. This is basically a default installation, I have created is solely to test the installation of Likewise-Open.

Upon attempting to install Likewise-Open using: sudo apt-get install likewise-open
The following occurs:

No service with the specified name exists

I have followed the relatively simple install instructions to the best of my knowledge, but I am no IT pro by any means. This is basically a default install of Ubuntu so I am not sure what is wrong.
