[natty] likewise-open problems on laptop systems

I'm using likewise-open on some laptops to authenticate against AD.

Sometimes likewise seem to take a while to start (you have to wait a minute or two before logging in on GDM).

And even when it works, after a day or two it seems to die completely and when I type 'lwsmd status' I get the following error message:

I get the same error after restarting lwsmd.

In the syslog I get the following lines that might indicate the root of the problem:

Same issue with having to wait to login for a minute or so after GDM starts. It seems to have to do with some delay in lsassd.
