Bug Description

Binary package hint: lighttpd

Version of PHP:
PHP 5.2.6-3ubuntu4.2 with Suhosin-Patch 0.9.6.2 (cgi-fcgi) (built: Aug 21 2009 21:36:45)

tail /var/log/lighttpd/error.log:
2009-10-13 08:58:50: (mod_fastcgi.c.2489) unexpected end-of-file (perhaps the fastcgi process died): pid: 0 socket: unix:/tmp/php.socket-3
2009-10-13 08:58:50: (mod_fastcgi.c.3299) response not received, request sent: 1278 on socket: unix:/tmp/php.socket-3 for /index.php , closing connection

And when I try to open browser (localhost) I get 500 - Internal Server Error.

To get around this bug I make this command in my console:
php index.php - in directory where is my php file. In console I see appropriate output and my web server is working... for some time and this error occurs again... :(

But maybe this is a php-cgi issue?

Stale bug; probably was a user error in PHP and probably was not a lighttpd bug.

Changed in lighttpd (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
