lightdm 0.9.6-0ubuntu1 does not read/respect the default com.ubuntu.desktop.pkla nor a .pkla in/var/lib/polkit-k1/localauthority/50-local.

Bug Description
Updated - it seems the default .pkla isn't being used either, - ie. update manager, time & date, ect.
Particularly during dev I place a .pkla in that location to avoid having to constantly auth some common actions like synaptic, ect.
This has always worked fine until todays lightdm upgrade.
Downgrading to previous lightdm restores use of the .pkla
