unity-greeter password prompt vanishes when hitting "esc"

Using 1.5.2 in current raring with unity-greeter, if you hit "esc" to clear what you typed in the password field the field vanishes from the ui and let you with no way to enter a password again.

I'm reporting this bug against lightdm because it started recently and downgrading unity-greeter doesn't fix it, it seems likely a regression from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2

Confirmed, downgrading lightdm and liblightdm-gobject-1-0 to 1.5.1 fixes the issue, also when it happens the greeter eats 100% cpu
