Bug Description

1. Closed all windows
2. Suspend.
3. Return to lock screen, switch user.
4. At login screen, try restart.

Restart doesn't work! The login screen sits there as if nothing happened.

This exists in both my laptop and my desktop running Ubuntu 12.04.

Thanks a lot for reporting this, however this issue is too serious to be a papercut.
