Bug Description

This bug report was generated at restart of light-dm

During live session I logged out, but could not log in again. So in a text screen I ran

sudo service lightdm stop
sudo service lightdm start

and came directly into the session (did not see the greeter)

and the session is working.

So there is something wrong: I cannot log back in from the log in screen. This means that I cannot test the other desktop environments. There is a work-around: to create another user (a regular user ID).
