Radiance theme : single close button has truncated background

When the close button is alone on a title bar, its background shows a truncated gradient on the left.
This only happens on Radiance theme. Ambiance theme has a correct rounded background.

See attached screenshot. Can easily be reproduced by switching themes in the Appearance Preferences dialog, which has a single "close" button.
