Bug Description
Binary package hint: light-themes
just nitpicking:
The first thing I do with my ubuntu desktop layout is to move the task basr into the top panel. The "window minimize/maximize" buttons do not make too much sense then, for example:
the Maximize button is a ^ , the minize button is a v. When I click the minimize button the window is zoomed out into the panel area. Which in turn feels "strange" as I press something that looks like an "down-arrow" and am invoking an animation to the top. The maximize icon looks like an "arraw to the panel", so people using my computer are assuming that by clicking on that arrow the window will "move into the panel", ie. gets minimized.
I know it sounds stupid, but I've seen people being confused when they try to figure out the buttons with my configuration. Maybe some direction agnostic icons would be possible?
cheers,
Andreas

My proposals :
revert to
minimize : minus
maximize : square
close : multiply
or
minimize : minus
maximise : plus
close : multiply
if it's not Apple's IP :)
