Bug Description

Binary package hint: liferea

Since updating to natty (beta), Liferea crashes a lot, usually after reading only a couple of items. When I ran it with --debug-all, these were the last lines displayed, I could not find the backtrace it was supposed to create, though:

<snip>

GUI: itemlist selection took 0,012s
PERF: itemlist_selection_changed took 0,012s

Liferea did receive signal 11 (Segmentation fault).
You have propably triggered a program bug. I will now try to
create a backtrace which you can attach to any support requests.

I don't see it in your report so I add the messages I got when I run liferea and it crashes (natty beta):

$ liferea --debug-all > debug_liferea

(liferea:6028): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_window_get_origin: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

(liferea:6028): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_window_get_origin: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

Besides this, my debug report is the same as yours.

Mariano and anyone else affected,

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Liferea since that time.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that was reported? Please let us know if you do.

If we do not hear from anyone this bug report will expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
