unread messages > 0 although all messages are read

Bug Description

Binary package hint: liferea

liferea is showing 120 unread messages (and an empty unread messages folder) when there are in fact NO unread messages at all. See attached screenshot.

Just wanted to point out that this is still an issue with 1.8.0. In fact, it has been an issue throughout the unstable release series of liferea, though this has never happened to me with the stable 1.6.x series.

If I rebuild the unread messages search folder and refresh all feeds, the unread count drops back to zero. After a few days of usage, the phantom unread messages start to show again. I still do not know how to reproduce this, I will post it if I can.
