Bug Description
Binary package hint: liferea
THE PROBLEM
The right-click menu, inside the main viewing area for Liferea, does not include a "Copy" option.
HOW TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on any RSS entry that features text inside the main viewing area.
2. Select some of the body text for that entry.
3. Open a right-click menu.
4. Note that the only options are "Increase size" and "Decrease size."
5. Use Ctrl-C to copy the text instead (works fine), because there is no "Copy" in the right-click menu.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Right-clicking on highlighted text should always give you the option to copy it. ("Select All" wouldn't be bad either.)
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: LinuxMint 7
Package: liferea 1.4.26-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: liferea
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-15-generic x86_64
UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine LinuxMint package
I've noticed this as well. However, you can still copy text in the main viewing area by highlighting the text with your mouse and pressing Ctrl and C at the same time.
However, the author of liferea noted (back in 2007) that they will not devote time to add this feature.
