Bug Description

Binary package hint: liferea

I can add new subscriptions to Liferea using a http link from a web page. When this feed is added, Liferea generates a name for it within the subscriptions list. Editing the properties of the feed lets me change the name of the feed, which is then reflected in the subscriptions list. However, when I update all feeds, Liferea renames my custom name for the subscription to the default name from the feed.

Steps to reproduce:

1 - Open Liferea
2 - Right click in the empty space on the left and select New > New Subscription...
3 - Paste the feed url (for e.g. http://www.hotukdeals.com/rss/all)
4 - Click OK. The feed is added
5 - Right Click on the newly added feed and select Properties
6 - In the Name field, change the name to TEST
7 - Click OK. The feed name is changed in the subscriptions list
8 - Click Update All Subscriptions on the toolbar, or select the option from the Subscriptions menu
9 - Watch in horror as all your custom feed names are replaced with their defaults

This occurs with the version of Liferea in the Ubuntu Gutsy repositories, version 1.4.4

Apologies for the Gnome Panel information in this bug report - I used the "Report a Problem" link from the panel (the quickest way to get to Launchpad - is there a better way direct from using an application?)
