Bug Description
Windows on my second monitor don't appear in the "Window List", although if I add the "Window Selector" I can find them, and Alt-Tab works ok too. This is a real nuisance, especially if I have a window minimised as they seem to disappear. I can't find any setting to correct this, nor anything on any forum indicating this has been seen before.
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04, with ATI graphics drivers powering two monitors, and Compiz enabled. I think the graphics drivers are set to use "overlay" mode on the second screen, but I'm not entirely sure what that's needed for.
It also looks like dragging windows from the second monitor to the first causes odd effects. I have evolution mail running all the time so it's the first program on my window list. If I drag a program from my second monitor to the first, it can occasionally cause evolution to disappear from the window list. I haven't been able to reliably reproduce that yet, so I'll add more information if I ever get to that stage.

I've just found it's also possible for the "Window Selector" to give the wrong list of items.
If I select a program on the second monitor, then click on the Window Selector, it shows the contents of both screens. If however I then right-click on the Window Selector, then left-click on it again, it now shows only the contents of the first monitor (where the window selector panel is located).
So far alt-tab has proven reliable, but it's very disconcerting to be not quite sure of what programs are running.
