Bug Description
x11vnc has been stuck at 0.9.3 since gutsy-backports. I see that jaunty is still there as well. 0.9.6 has been released and has some important changes and 0.9.7 is in the works. It would be great to have more attention on keeping this package up to date, especially when the author is *very* responsive to emails and willing to help users out.
Specifically, it would be great to have the "-reopen" support that has been added to 0.9.6 which is a preferred way of getting around the gdm killing client problem.

I support this comment, version 0.9.6 fixes a lot of bugs reported in Launchpad. The author aanswers even Ubuntuforums to help users ( i.e. http:// ubuntuforums. org/showthread. php?t=965695& page=2 ) and some bugs are known to be solved in 0.9.6 version. With 0.9.3 x11vnc is buggy, for example, to access througth web.
The "-reopen" option is a feature that will save a lot of headaches.
