Bug Description
Binary package hint: x11vnc
When doing support I use xvncviewer in listen mode running on my computer. This was working fine with Edgy using xvncviewer 3.3.7 and previous versions.
Now with Gutsy it is not working 100% using xvnc4viewer 4.1.1
When working on another linux system I just have the other user enter the following to connect:
x11vnc -connect myipaddress:5500
This works perfectly fine on the latest version and the previous versions.
When working with Windows systems I send them a copy of UltraVNC Single Click client.
This used to work fine with the previous versions, but now upgrading to Gutsy, it does not connect anymore.
The only thing that it shows is the following, and then it freezes on that:
Tue Oct 30 19:59:27 2007
main: Listening on port 5500
Tue Oct 30 20:01:53 2007
CConn: Accepted connection from 67.149.22.54::3862
CConnection: Server supports RFB protocol version 3.16
CConnection: Using RFB protocol version 3.8

When xvnc4viewer( 4.1.1+xorg1. 0.2ubuntu6) is installed it takes over for xvncviewer( 3.3.7-14ubuntu1 ) and causes the connection to fail. When I remove the package xvnc4viewer, the connection to xvncviewer from the remote connection works perfectly.
