gmail web app displaying number of messages on wrong launcher icon

Bug Description

The number of unread messages in my gmail account is being displayed on the web launcher below the gmail icon. When I move the gmail icon, the problem corrects itself. (Obviously minimal concern - on my other computer, I can't even get it to display the message count.)
