After some discussion with Chris on IRC chromeless-fix branch has been reworked a little and merged, in a way which should be satisfying. Is there anything blocking this now?

+1 from the Docs Team. Like mterry said, the Docs Team basically already approved this by approving the new launcher items.

Please package this and upload on its own, so we can easily revert if there are any unexpected issues with this change.

Given this is part of the sabdfl requested change, go ahead and upload to -proposed, it will need to go through review on the queue since we're now in archive freeze mode.

This is not actually fixed in quantal. And as far as I know, won't be. There was a decision not to add further craziness on top of the other million changes we're making. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

(There was an attempt to fix this bug, but it didn't work right, and the decision was not to spend time trying to fix it and just let the feature drop.)
