Merging libtool 2.2.10-1 results in test-suite regression

libtool (2.2.10-1ubuntu1) natty; urgency=low

  * Merge from experimental (LP: #689604), remaining changes are:
    - Added debian/patches/skip_nonpic_on_arm.patch:
      This disables the non-PIC tests on ARM. Attempting to build a non-PIC
      library on ARMv7 causes the toolchain to bomb. This is a temporary
      workaround for http://pad.lv/503448, this patch can be dropped once
      GCC properly supports non-PIC shared libraries on ARMv7.

The attached branch can be build with bzr-bd and it has pristine-tar deltas / full revisions for:

2.2.6b-2 base
2.2.6b-2ubuntu1 ubuntu delta (ours)
2.2.10-1 experimental (theirs)

2.2.10-1ubuntu1 - merge result

Since it is a new upstream release I think a branch is a better way to show all the debdiffs against ubuntu & debian.

Package import failed to import libtool, hence this branch is made using import-dsc and has just what is needed for this merge.

Consistent with local builds, pbuilder and PPA. Debian does not have such test-suite regression.
