This bug is causing problems with keyboard and mouse input in UT2004. When gnome-screensaver tries to activate, the keyboard and mouse would seem to reset. All of a sudden, I'd be facing down, and whatever key I was holding stops registering until I let go and press it again. It took me a while to figure out this was caused by gnome-screensaver because I don't actually see it activate. It just eats my input while I'm playing. A couple of other people have encountered this as well.
