rsvg-convert does not correctly convert graduated text

Bug Description
I have an SVG file with some graduated text in it. When run through rsvg-convert to generate a PNG file for inclusion in a mobile application the text is replaced with a graduated rectangle with no text.

Should have said. File was created in InkScape and displays and edits correctly in there. Can't use InkScape's PNG export as multiple sizes are required and this would quickly become very tedious so a scriptable convert of all the graphics assets into the required sizes is required.
