bartvt, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

On pc Debian x86-64 with 3.5 sources updated yesterday and a brand new LO profile, I don't reproduce the crash.

Taking a look at the bt, it could be fixed.
Christopher/bfoman: could you give a try to 3.5.6 and/or 3.6.2 and tell if you still reproduce the problem?

bartvt, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Quantal Quetzal.

This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
