Bug Description

When the LibreOffice KDE integration package (libreoffice-kde) is installed, all the icon labels are blacked out and totally unreadable (see link below for a screen dump). This happens on Natty (LO 3.3.3) and Oneiric (LO 3.3.4) and possibly other Kubuntu versions on both the default Air theme and Oxygen (currently using Oxygen).

A work around was pointed out to me by a member on the Ubuntu Forums (big thanks):
System Settings -> Application Appearance -> Colors -> Colors -> Color set: Common Colors -> change Tooltip Background to something other than black.
