Bug Description

Binary package hint: libreoffice

To reproduce:
Uninstall myspell-ru package (if such is installed).
Type some gibberish in LibreOffice Writer.
Set the document language to Russian.
Spell check the document.

What happens.
LibreOffice successfully completes checking the rubbish and reports that everything went fine.

What i expect to happen:
I expect LibreOffice to either disable the spell checking feature or (better) to warn me that the language cannot be checked (so that i go and install the correct myspell package).

Thank you for submitting this bug, I can confirm that this bug exists.
To further clarify recreation:
1) Type out anything in LO Writer, just something like "jaskldfjasdl;fja;sdf"
2) Go to Tools > Language > For All Text > More... > Default Languages for documents > Default - Russian
3) Spell Check will ignore your gibberish that you type.
I'm marking this bug as confirmed. I also can recreate this issue in all the other languages I have tried such as Dutch, Czech, and more.
Regards,
Steve

Just a note, this does make sense as the dictionary is not installed but it should at least display a message warning that documents are not being properly checked due to the lack of a dictionary

Yes, it makes sense if you had a document that was mostly in e.g. en-GB, with some phrases in fr, ang and la and you had dictionaries for British English and French but not for Latin or Anglo-Saxon, that it would pass by those Latin and Anglo-Saxon phrases.

I think the ideal would be a list of languages in the document that weren't checked for that reason.
