I use Libreoffice on 10.04 and am able to get a proper size of fonts for mixed text.

System font setting for Menus, application is not available in Unity, so not able to change the font sizes for English and Telugu, hence the bug is against Ubuntu Unity

Addl. info: I figured out changing the fonts. When I changed the application font to Lohit Telugu, the mismatch in Telugu and English letter size disappeared. But English sometimes as part of shortcut keys in menu items are rendered as boxes.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Ubuntu 11.04 reached EOL on October 28, 2012.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

As for Ubuntu 10.04, that is still supported on the desktop for the next two months only.

Can you reproduce this bug on a newer Ubuntu release? Ubuntu 12.04 or newer preferably.

Do feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
