What is expected to happen in Writer is

My font has vertical fraction look up for Bengali script. On selecting Format > Characters > CTL Font > Features Alternate (vertical) Fraction Feature is visible in options. Selecting the option should apply the feature on selected fraction

see screenshot http://cloud.atipra.in/index.php/s/YosGiyFSoTQeW8i
What happened instead is..

The feature is not applied, and the selected text is unchanged

It should change as happens in firefox on selecting alternate (Vertical) fraction lookup in css
see screenshot http://cloud.atipra.in/index.php/s/MxYbEisyFT3KnKT

Problem also in Libreoffice 7.1.2 in Fedora

Showing that it is not an Ubuntu specific error as problem persists in Fedora 34 with Libreoffice Community version 7.1.2

6.4 LO version is EOL (End Of Life), like 7.0 and 7.1 branches.
Could you give a try to LO 7.2.5 or brand new 7.3.0 ?

On which Linux distrib are you? If Ubuntu, you can try repositories from LO ppa (see https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa)

Thank you for your feedback.
Would it be possible you attach a minimal odt file (with an ad hoc Bengali character which triggers the pb) and provide some link to download the specific font you use?
BTW, does it happen only with a specific font or any font?

Test document to test the afrc feature

It occurs with my font and another font ShonarBangla.ttf by Monotype Corporation / Microsoft which is only other Bengali font I know to have this feature.

My font is available for testing at https://github.com/mitradranirban/fonts-mukti/releases/download/3.0.1/mukti.otf

Screen shot from firefox showing proper rendering

This is how the vertical fraction should look. Newer versions of Chrome also messes it so see the link https://fonts.atipra.in/afrc-test.html in Firefox only o see the proper rendering
