Rendering of formatted cells is at odfds with Excel and Open Office

I have been writing an .xlsx file using java POI from InteliJ.

Rendering the sheet does not reflect the cell-styles which have been applied.

The sheet is absolutely as expected in Excel (on Windows 10) and OpenOffice on Ubuntu 20.04
