Bug description: When inserting an image, I have LibreOffice crash. Check the screenshot for the crash information I get

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open new Writer or Spreadsheet document ( might be applicable to other versions as well)
2. Insert -> Image. The application crashes. Check the screenshot for what I see after that

Workaround:
Instead of using Insert -> Image, open in an image viewer, copy to clipboard and paste it into the document

Actually it's not just inserting image that crashes the program. Anything that opens the file system does that. I can't use the open, save as functions because it crashes

Uninstalling the libreoffice-kde package helped. I can use the Open, Save, etc. dialogs that open the file system

Ah, that's bug #1750087 then.
If you upgraded straight from 1:5.4.1-0ubuntu1 to 1:5.4.5-0ubuntu0.17.10.4 (without the intermediate 1:5.4.5-0ubuntu0.17.10.1 update), then the apparmor profiles haven't been disabled. That's known, another update is being prepared to address this. In the meantime, if you want to use the KDE dialogs again, you can do the following:

    sudo ln -s /etc/apparmor.d/usr.lib.libreoffice.program.* /etc/apparmor.d/disable/
    sudo apparmor_parser -R /etc/apparmor.d/usr.lib.libreoffice.program.*
