Bug Description

Using LibreOffice Fresh

Version: 5.4.4.2; Build ID: 1:5.4.4~rc2-0ubuntu0.16.04.1~lo1; CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.10; UI render: GL; VCL: gtk2; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group.

Symbol (OpenSymbol, SymbolPS) glyphs are appearing boxes as opposed to glyphs.

Also, may or may not be related, but changing text colour doesn't work either in the last two builds.

@cement_head: is this bug still observable with the latest stable release (6.0.6) in the PPA?
