Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
Release: 14.04
LibreOffice 4.2.7.2 420m0(Build:2)
libreoffice-calc:
  Installed: 1:4.2.7-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1:4.2.7-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1:4.2.7-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:4.2.7-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-security/main amd64 Packages
     1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages
I expected the file write to take some time, but I did not expect it to take as long or to consume that much CPU.
The GUI for libreoffice calc was unresponsive (grayed out) throughout the entire process.
Repeatable process, occurs when writing files only.
One CPU is used at 100% for perhaps 5 minutes.
Has only started happening in past fortnight.
I'm using the proprietary NVidia driver on 14.04.
Additionally, I have cuda-7.0 installed from the Nvidia repositories.
