Patryk, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 1294342
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

As well, could you please attach an Impress file, that when saved to .ppt demonstrates this problem?

Patryk, could you please specify which slide has the hyperlink?

Patryk, regarding https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1294342/+attachment/4037552/+files/slide2.odp saving it as .ppt and reopening in Impress, the text is still a Hyperlink. However, the following changes were noticed:
1) Target of the Hyperlink went from:
!!br0ken!!

to blank.
2) Text color of the hyperlinked letters changed.
3) Text font of the hyperlinked letters changed.
4) Text font size of the hyperlinked letters changed.
5) Paragraph Line spacing changed from single to Proportional 94%.
6) As well, when opening the document in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 (11.5529.8172) the text is no longer a URL.

As each of these issues are treated as their own separate bug report, this report would only be focusing on 1).

Hence, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one. It would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions verbatim at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about the status. Thanks in advance.

(couldn't submit on https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ because I got the note : There is no version named '4.2.2.1 rc' in the 'LibreOffice' product.)

Upstream report has nothing to do with downstream. Unlinking.
