LibreOffice Writer's Bibliography Entry... menu item acts as a check menu item and not open any dialog

In LibreOffice Writer, when I go to Insert menu -> Indexes and Tables -> Bibliography Entry... it acts as a check menu item. Initially, it opens the dialog as expected, although on the left side of the menu item the check mark becomes appear as if it is a check menu item. However eventually -- may be after several save-document or click-the-menu-item -- it doesn't open any dialog box as expected. It just toggles the check mark on the left side.
It is not happened when I use Gnome Shell, currently I am using Unity.
