Bug Description

Saving my document as "bug2.rtf" and re-opening results in a messed-up page 1. Effectively the bottom margin has become some inches where it used to be less than one.

I have made a snippet, and attached it as bug2.doc.

and
Abiword 2.9.2+svn20120213-1
do exactly the same as Ubuntu LO 3.5.4-0ubuntu1.1 (insert a page break following 'would be essentially the same.')

Side note: LO 3.6.x & LO 3.5.6.x (original LibreOffice versions - linux & Windows) corrupt the rtf file completely using Save or SaveAs.

Kevin O'Gorman, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions verbatim at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport . If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about the status. Thanks in advance.

In Quantal, saving and reopening rtf fails with:
LibreOffice 3.6

I didn't do it, but it appears someone reported the same bug already to upstream, as NoOp reported above. I've looked at it and it seems to be the same issue.

Track this:

It is not the same issue. The issue reported upstream is resolved in newest upstream release. The issue you are reporting is distinctly different, and reproducible in newest release:
Microsoft Windows Vista Business x86
6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002
Version 4.0.0.0.beta2 (Build ID: 4104d660979c57e1160b5135634f732918460a0)
