The HUD doesn't seem to work properly with LibreOffice Writer and it can't find standard menu items.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a document in LibreOffice Writer

3. Press ALT: the HUD opens
4. Type "char"

Expected behaviour:
The Format > Character menu option should appear

No LibreOffice menu items appear at all.

If you install the package 'lo-menu', you should be able to do this. If I'm not mistaken, Ubuntu 12.10 will have this feature by default.

I have this problem with Ubuntu 12.10. In 12.04 everything worked fine, but after upgrade HUD in LibreOffice stopped to work. I have read somewhere that installing lo-menubar doesn't solve this issue.

This is one of the aplications where the HUD is needed the most. However on raring, i noticed that if the app is run from the dash (with no file to open), the HUD works fine, but if u open a file, the HUD is not working.
