Michael Mueller, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. This is reproducible via:
libreoffice --help
libreoffice -?
libreoffice -h

Marking Triaged Medium due to this being consistently reproducible. This is a regression from Precise where this problem does not occur.

As far as I remember, I reproduced the error the way described in the other bug. Therefore, I just hope this segfault does not occur for other users.
