Bug Description

If the user creates a file with LibreOffice and then moves/deletes it, the next time they try to open it from the 'Recent files' list they will receive a warning that it no longer exists, but no offer to remove it from the list.

This should change so that they get that offer, since it will mean the list becomes populated with broken links that they can't do anything about.

Hi Paul, thanks for verifying this. Because this is an upstream issue rather than anything Ubuntu-specific, there's not much we can do now but to ask again if they'll reconsider fixing this.

If you feel strongly that this should be resolved, please leave a comment here: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53145

Until upstream changes their mind, I am going to match their status here as "Won't Fix".

Reporter no longer uses Launchpad and with no one else saying they are affected by this issue I'll close the Papercuts task too.
