Same happened to me. I think the problem lies in the reference to ldap server.<br>With &quot;pam_ldap.conf&quot; my ref is a uri and works, but when I make it a straight host name ref, then it hangs.<br>Dunno if this helps.<br>

* /etc/pam.d/common-session<br>
* /etc/ldap/ldap.conf<br>

Also, please send a dump of all packages installed:<br>
