* The packages are available on all architectures in universe. (libnss-nis and libnss-nisplus are pending publishing from https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa-service/+archive/ubuntu/4249/+packages)
[Rationale]
* New dependencies of libc6 and libc-dev and the source of the packages are forked from the glibc source:
- Glibc still ships libnsl.so.1, but does not ship libnsl development files thus new packages should build against libnsl-dev which libc-dev depends on.
- Glibc does not ship libnss_nis.so.2 and libnss_nisplus.so.2, which is shipped by libnss-nis and libnss-nisplus packages depended on by libc6. |
