Bug Description
I'm using feisty libnotify 0.3.4-1
I'm used to write scripts for laptop hotkeys the ones that are executed by acpid (scritps in /etc/acpi). Now I've looked at notify-send to inform the user about the action status (e.g. wireless disabled!). I get a strange error when doing it:
libnotify-Message: Unable to get session bus: Failed to execute dbus-launch to autolaunch D-Bus session
the strange thing is that if I restart acpid from my gnome-terminal (sudo /etc/init.d/acpid restart) the notifications start to appear without any error...
Changed in libnotify: | |

I had same issue running notify-send in another system by ssh.
The error could be because you need dbus-launch that is in dbus-x11 package.
So you know:
sudo aptitude install dbus-x11
at least, it worked for me.
