Bug Description

Hello,

I would like to request the removal of src:libnfsidmap and its binaries from jammy, and that its sync from Debian be blocked. It was incorporated[1] in the new nfs-utils version[2] I uploaded.

src:libnfsidmap produces:
- bin:libnfsidmap-dev
- bin:libnfsidmap2

These are replaced by src:nfs-utils':
- bin:libnfsidmap-dev
- bin: libnfsidmap1 (yes, the soname "downgrades". It was incorrectly set to 2 in the src:libnfsidmap build, where it should have been 0)

Reverse dependencies of src:libnfsidmap build fine with the binary packages produced by src:nfs-utils[3], and I just uploaded no-change rebuilds for them.

A more detailed history/explanation can be seen in this ubuntu-devel post[4]

Currently blocked on remaining reverse-dependencies in the release pocket. Needs new nfs-utils to migrate first.

(how did it come to be that the old package ships libnfsidmap2 but the new one ships libnfsidmap1?)

The major of the old package (libnfsidmap2) is 0 (.so.0.3.0), I don't know why it was set to 2.
The new one is correctly set to 1 (.so.1.0.0).

All rdeps migrated except sssd, which is stuck under python3-defaults.

oh, and nfs-utils itself migrated
