GoPro Hero4 camera not recognized as MTP device

Bug Description

My Gopro Hero 4 Silver camera isn't mounted automatically on Kubuntu 15.10. In journal I've found the following:

I don't know why it got related to ubuntu-release-upgrader-core... Any way to correct this? Sorry...

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=190643 looks related; sounds like the GoPro firmware doesn't properly implement Mtp, and there might be a firmware update for it. For the record, can you install the "mtp-tools" package and run "sudo mtp-detect", and copy&paste the output here?

Hi Martin,

Installed mtp-tools... here is the output of mtp-detect:

bruno@Nira-Notebook:~$ sudo mtp-detect
libmtp version: 1.1.9

Listing raw device(s)
   No raw devices found.

During the weekend I was able to plug a gopro hero3 and it worked OK. Seem to be something related only to Hero4 models.
