It was released too late for Precise but is already in Quantal:

Actually, this is a separate task for hdhomerun-config, the CLI utility, which remains outdated. Is it just a delay in builds which would be automatic from now on or should I keep tracking this in the future too?

This is the right package for this bug. The hdhomerun-config CLI binary package is part of the libhdhomerun source package.
