Dear Ubuntu desktop teams,

since there is no progress on this bug and this bug is a showstopper - meaning, I cannot use this software at all (therefore a »condicio sine qua non«).

Because of this, I am willing to help you debbung shotwell. And yes, it is indeed a shotwell bug, since kopete's photo manager and F-Spot do not show this behaviour. Since this bug might affect a lot of users not using launchpad, I'd recommend a slightly higher priority.
