keyboard layoyt chart does not scale

The keyboard layout chart that can be seen when running gkbd-keyboard-display, or through System Settings -> Text entry -> (Keyboard icon) does not scale very well when scaling the display (System settings -> Screen display -> Scale for menu and titlebars), I have it on 1,5 normally. Chars are cut off and not every one is displaying at all. Resizing the window does nothing for the scale, and is very laggy, freezing the entire dekstop for several seconds. It loooks really ugly.
