missing icons in GTK+ applications' menu items

Bug Description

There are no icons in GTK+ based applications' menus. The problem was observed also in gtk-demo (see Application main demo) on Ubuntu 9.10 with GTK 2.18.3-1.

Thank you for your bug report. However, this is not a bug but a design decision. /desktop/gnome/interface/menus_have_icons and /desktop/gnome/interface/buttons_have_icons were turned off by default in Karmic. You're free to turn them back on again if you prefer that
