Bug Description

During a test rebuild of hoary:

make[1]: Entering directory `/build/buildd/libgd2-2.0.33/build-libgd2-noxpm'
 cd .. && /bin/sh /build/buildd/libgd2-2.0.33/config/missing --run automake-1.9
--foreign
configure.ac:27: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.9.4,
configure.ac:27: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.ac:27: comes from Automake 1.9.3. You should recreate
configure.ac:27: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.

I can't reproduce this failure on my machine, but this is clearly a
timestamp skew issue. Uploaded 2.0.33-1.1ubuntu1 which touches the
appropriate files in debian/rules to work around this.

I solved a similar problem (compiling panatools) by changing the symlinks in
/etc/alternatives to aclocal and automake to version 1.7 when both 1.7 and 1.4
were installed on the system. Both pointed to the 1.4 versions, but panatools
required version 1.7 of automake to compile.
