Module GD::Group is not installed (GD::Simple needs it)

Binary package hint: libgd-gd2-perl

Running "use GD::Simple" causes a crash because dependent module GD::Group is not installed. To reproduce, run command "perl -MGD::Simple" from the command line. This bug is fixed upstream in GD version 2.44 and higher.
