Elan touchpad fingerprint reader is not recognized by ubuntu 18.10 and 20.04

I have ubuntu 18.10 with 04F3:3057 finger print reader and I can't find my device in the fingerprint driver (libfprint) in it's latest version (0.99.0)

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and I have Elan fingerprint reader 04f3:3057 that cannot work yet.
I hope you can solve the issue.

I've been working on reverse engineering these sensors and have a semi functional prototype at https://github.com/mincrmatt12/elan-spi-fingerprint and the mincrmatt12/elan-spi branch of https://github.com/mincrmatt12/libfprint.

My reader Elan fingerprint 04f3:305 not detected with Ubuntu 20.04.

lsusb command shows no info on the touchpad / fingerprint reader:

The funny thing is that it is detected only by using win 10.
