Bug Description
reoccurence of issue report earlier in cycle ( https:/
The "Install Lubuntu 22.10" icon on the desktop includes a (!) over it; which ideally shouldn't be there.
** to re-create
- boot kinetic ISO (Leokolb noticed this yesterday too)
- click "Install Lubuntu 22.10" icon on desktop
** expected outcome
calamares starts the install process
** actual outcome
"Execute file"
This file 'Install Lubuntu 22.10' seems to be a desktop entry. What do you want to do with it?
Open Execute Cancel
To have it work as expected, users are currently required to right-click icon & click the "Trust this executable" which is far from ideal. Yes we can document the workaround(s), but not great.
note: Leokolb filed using older bug report that was "Fix Released". Short discussion online in #lubuntu-devel indicates this issue is in queue and should resolve itself soon (fingers crossed)
