Can you give a sample .orf file that demonstrates this problem? I was not able to reproduce this with libexif12-0.6.19-1, gimp-2.6.8-2ubuntu1.3, and ufraw-0.16-1build1 with a sample .orf image from http://img.photographyblog.com/reviews/olympus_ep1/sample_images/olympus_ep1_07.orf. If it is a libexif problem, it's probably been fixed in the newer release.
